Samsung I9000 is a new product of Samsung and there are many people curious about Samsung I9000. So, I am going to introduce information about the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S.
Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is Android smartphone with thinnest body of about 9.9mm. It was announced by Samsung and in March, 2010 and released in June,2010. It also known as Samsung I9008 Galaxy S for Chinese market.
Samsung I9000 Galaxy S running on the Android platform 2.1(a.k.a "Eclair") but it able to upgradeable to version 2.2(a.k.a "Froyo"). The processor speed is about 1GHz. Therefore, the users can play their smartphone in faster speed. Beside that, Samsung I9000 Galaxy S will come with two versions of the 8GB version and 16GB versions and both are still equipped with a microSD slot. The users can choose which version depend on the need and budget as well.
The Display type of Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is 16M-color Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Active-matrix organic light-emitting diode(AMOLED) is a display technology for use in mobile devices and television. With AMOLED, Samsung I9000 Galaxy S able to provide higher refresh rate and consume significantly less power. This is convenient to the users. In addition, it offers 480 x 800 pixels and size of 4.0inches. With this characteristic, the users able to view in a more clearer screen. Samsung I9000 Galaxy S also offers Multi-touch input method.
The camera resolution of Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is 5.0 Megapixel and the type of lens is CMOS. It supports Auto Focus and several shot mode such as self shot, action shot, add me, cartoon shot and smile shot. It also supports Geo-tagging. But, it does not support flash for the camera. So, the image won't so detailed. On the other hand, Samsung I9000 Galaxy S supports document viewer, mobile printing, offline mode to the users. With this functions, users will be more convenient with using Samsung I9000 Galaxy S.
There are few disadvantages of Samsung I9000 Galaxy S. First, it does not offer free GPS navigation solution. So, the users have to buy by themselves. Second, there are no flash support for the web browser. Besides that, the all-plastic body is a real fingerprint magnet.
Although there are some disadvantages, the advantages of it are more than the disadvantages. Therefore, Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is worth to buy.
